The ReSTOR Difference - Apodized Diffractive Technology
How do ReSTOR implants help patients achieve complete or nearly complete freedom from eyeglasses? Through a patented "apodized diffractive" technology that makes each ReSTOR lens essentially two lenses in one. Like any standard implant designed to replace the eye´s natural crystalline lens — whether clouded by a cataract or compromised by presbyopia — the ReSTOR provides the refraction required for comfortable long-distance vision. But it goes ordinary implants one better by also providing the diffraction needed for seeing close objects clearly. A Proven Procedure
